VMI defeats Mount St. Mary's in Overtime Thriller
Saturday was an exciting day at VMI, It was a beautiful day as well. We had 2 victories! The football team beat Davidson, 33-0 followed by an exciting 3-2 overtime victory of the Men's soccer team. Please check the official site for game details. Congrats! The team displayed the true spirit of VMI! Josh Hanna was the man of the day with 1 goal and 2 assists. The goal that tied the match was redirected on a header by Kyle Fricke and the winning goal was scored in the second 10 minute overtime by Charles Nweke. The parents tailgate prior to the match was held up on the hill overlooking the pitch. It was well attended.
