December 11th- Team Gathers for Annual Men's Soccer Banquet
The
VMI Men's Soccer Banquet was held Sunday, December 11, 2005.
The team enjoyed a wonderful meal and the company of their families
as they bring the season to a close and prepare to enter
exams this week. The evening included inspirational
words from our graduating seniors Kevin Aldrich and Kyle Fricke and
from our Head Coach Stephen Ross. Several awards were given
including the MVP's voted on by the team. They are -
defensive MVP Josh VanCleef, midfield MVP Josh Hanna, offensive
MVP Mike Lloyd and Charles Nweke. The evening ended
with entertainment by the Rats. They did a great job
depicting their coaches and their teammates. Everyone went
home with a door prize contributed by the parents.
November 13th- Hanna and Nweke Named to All-Tournament Team
November 9th- Nweke, Lloyd and Simpson Earn All Conference Honors
November 3rd- Redmond & Bill Recieve All Conference Honors
